Directions to Grass and Loon Lakes

o Take #400 north through Barrie when it splits take hwy #11 toward North Bay, (don’t worry we aren’t that far north!)

o Approx. 23.5 km north of Huntsville turn right at #518 toward Emsdale and Kearney

o Follow #518 through the town of Kearney….in about another 23km  when you come to stop sign and a sharp right bend in  the road (you will be at the Forest Tower Outfitter store) Turn right

o Approximately 1 km from the Store you will see the paved road turn to the left and a dirt road heading straight. Grass Lake Road is the dirt road....take this  to get to the Cottages on the south and east side of Grass Lake.

o The paved road changes name to Chetwynd and you will go approx. another 2.8 km and will see a paved road at the top of a hill to your right....this is Loon Lake Road. Take this road to get to the southern Cottages on Loon Lake.

o Approx. another 4km past Loon Lake Road turn right onto Island Lake Road, to get to cottages on the Northern shore of Loon Lake and Grass Lake.
